Can you help us with a CDAC fish survey in August?

Mick Donkin from Wear Rivers Trust / CDAC Bankside Main officer, has asked me to inform you that there are some planned electrofishing surveys available for clubs to get involved with.

They will begin in August 2024 (dates to be confirmed once expressions of interest are submitted). Those interested will receive some instruction and then be able to take part in the surveys. This is a fun and excellent way to review our fish stocks and to find out more about the state of the River Wear.

In addition there are still some water quality testing kits available for use. Anyone interested in either of the above can contact Mick directly - mick.donkin@wear-rivers-trust.org.uk
